  My wife and I stayed at the Crillon for our 12th wedding anniversary in April. Needless to say I needed a special place, a very special hotel in the city where we met as students. Terrific location for sure. What stroke us most is the kindness of its staff, always ready to help without being too intrusive. This is what I call service. We didn't dine at Les Ambassadors as it was fully booked! We keep it for next time as we'll be back!

  This was our second stay at this hotel. The first time we were here we had an outstanding experience- enough to return with family. Staff and service are among the best in Europe; location gets a top score as well. Our chief disappointment derives from the room quality- this time we got only a 3 star level room- it just wasn't very nice period and this made the $*-a-night pricetag bothersome. There are very nice rooms here though- I guess you just have to demand them up front.
